LEVELS .- On arrival, students pass a test to determine their level and to assign them to a group. Levels are from absolute beginners to advanced:
- Beginner level - - Assuming no previous knowledge of Spanish. In one month, the basics of Spanish grammar are covered, and the student should then be able to maintain, at a basic level, a conversation in any situation.
- Elementary level - - For students who already possess a basic grasp of the language but need to study the grammar in more depth, acquire a wider vocabulary and a certain fluency in expression. By the end of the course the student will be able to express himself clearly and, generally, grammatically correctly, with a considerable vocabulary.
We usually create a level between the beginners and the elementary level, for those who have a slight knowledge of the language.
- Intermediate level - - For students who are fluent in the language, but make constant mistakes, and cannot always express themselves with ease. After completing the course, the student will have no problems with Spanish grammar, will have learned a lot of vocabulary, and will be able to hold serious conversations with certain fluency.
- Advanced level - - For students who know and dominate Spanish grammar, but nevertheless commit small mistakes, who have a wide vocabulary but who often encounter problems in linguistic constructions and in the use of the verb tenses; they will also wish to expand their vocabulary within distinct semantic fields and specializations.
In this study level, in contrast to the others, we do not attempt a vertical progression of knowledge, but a horizontal study, putting the entire range of vocabulary into practice, treating in depth the fundamental problems of the language.
