CLASSES take place from Monday to Friday. Class hours are in the mornings, from 9.00 to 1.30 p.m. and/or evenings, from 4.00 to 8.30 p.m.

Participation in the classes must be constant in order to obtain the Course Certificate. Text books may be borrowed from the Instituto on payment of a deposit of 9 Euros returnable when the books are handed back, they may also be purchased. Photocopies and other material are included in the course fee.

CLASSROOM NUMBERS : Each group is formed from 1 to a maximum of 10 students. The students sit on comfortable chairs around a table, beside the teacher, thus forming a compact, homogeneous group, suitable for a practical class.

TEACHING METHODS : Teaching is entirely in Spanish, without translation. The direct method is used particularly in the first stages.

Vocabulary and grammar is learnt within its context. Grammar is analyzed and structural exercises are practiced orally. At every level directed and free conversations are extensively practiced, as well as discussions, debates on current topics, and special emphasis is given to oral narration, requiring a profound study of the language.

TEACHERS are graduated in Spanish philology and have specific experience in teaching Spanish to foreigners. Other teachers are graduates in their respective disciplines of history, art, geography, economics, business studies, law, etc.
